About Dr. Falconer:
Dr. Larry Falconer is a Professor for the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension Economist-Management for District 11 of Texas AgriLife Extension Service, based in Corpus Christi. Dr. Falconer received his B.S. (1978) and M.S. (1980) in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University, and Ph.D. (1992) in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. Dr. Falconer works extensively in the area of rice, cotton, grain sorghum, corn and sod production economics. Dr. Falconer's research work has been directed towards firm level investment problems involving beef cattle production, irrigation systems as well as forage and range economics. More recently, Dr. Falconer's research work includes efforts in the economic analysis of alternative crops for bio-fuels production.
