About Dr. Park:
Dr. Park is the Roy B. Davis Professor and the state extension economist serving agricultural cooperatives. His work focuses on the effective management of agribusiness firms and markerting of food and fiber products. Working with agricultural producers, trade associations, emerging businesses, and corporate directors and management, Dr. park helps his clientele to be competitive in the complex business environment surrounding today's food system.
Dr. Park works closely with the Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council and is a director of that organization. He is the recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Research and Communication and the Patrick J. Byrne Award for Emerging Leadership, both from the Food Distribution Research Society, which he currently serves as President-elect. In 2010, Dr. Park's accomplishments were further recognized with the receipt of and early career award from the Alpha Zeta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi.
Dr. Park teaches courses in agricultural marketing, management, and cooperation.
