About Dr. Park:
Dr. Seong C. Park is an Assistant Professor and Natural Resource Economist for the Texas AgriLife Research Center at Vernon, Texas. He has done research in various areas of natural resources including the Ogallala aquifer (OA) modeling and the animal manure management system in the Southern Great Plains. His research interests include integrated cropping systems, environmental and resource economics, nutrient management of animal manure, water management, and bioenergy. Current research projects include 1) economic and groundwater Use implications of bioenergy feedstocks production in the OA region, 2) economic analysis of emission abatement in cattle feedlots and dairies, and 3) economic sustainability of developing a sustainable regional bioenergy production model. He is a member of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association and the Southern Agricultural Economics Association.
